The 2007 Debate Reunion is scheduled for August 24-25, 2007. All events, including the dinner on the 25th, are complementary. 

Alumni can now register online from this page (or by calling the Communication Department at (417) 836-4423), but we've now passed the registration deadline and submitted final numbers for the dinner and wine tasting. Other events are still open to walk-in's.

Invitations went mailed June 14, 2007. If you didntt received one, it possible we have an old address (or need to add you to our alumni list). The reunion registration form can be used as an alumni information form, even if you don't plan to attend the reunion. Also, a copy of the invitation of the Reunion can be accessed here (including schedule) with MS Word.

Please register as soon as possible, and by August 15, 2007 at the latest. If you need to alter your registration, just register again and just mark fields that change (or, email Dr. Eric Morris). There was a hotel block ($63/night) at the Clarion Hotel (417-883-6550) 3333 S. Glenstone Ave. Springfield, MO 65804. The block expired August 8, 2007.

Saturday, August 25th. (Times for events in Cheek 301 may vary; we'll take as it goes).

Morning activities: Only a couple of people asked, and none with the same interests, so we're not planning to coordinate any.

10am Alumni Steering Committee Meeting. Cheek Hall, Room 301. The debaters will be working nearby....

Noon Informal Lunch with Debaters. Cheek Hall, Room 301.

1pm Debate Research in the Electronic Age. Cheek Hall, Room 301.

2pm Cross Generation Demo Debate, Cheek Hall, Room 301. **This debate may get moved to the evening dinner, or we may do two - I'm consulting with the volunteers**

6pm Cash Bar Opens / Dinner at 7pm. Riverside Inn (2629 N Riverside Rd, Ozark, MO - 417-581-7051). Here are google directions for the Riverside - Mapquest insists on a very indirect route.

 

Sunday, August 26th.

Survivor's Breakfast - minimal interest, as yet. This can be coordinated at the dinner on Saturday night if there are interested parties...
